Volunteers are the heart of Pegasus. Without their dedication, loyalty, and hard work, it would not be possible for us to fulfill our mission. There are many individual reasons why people volunteer with us, but all provide the chance to join a thriving, nurturing community whose goal is to positively impact the lives of as many people with needs as possible.
Pegasus will be holding an orientation for new volunteers that includes clinics on horse leading, sidewalking, and general volunteer responsibilities.

An avid horseman and teacher with 63 years of experience, Steve Cilia began his career at Claremont Riding Academy in NYC, where he taught young, green horses how to carry novice riders in city traffic and on the Central Park bridle path, and ran classes for all ages and riding levels.
The 12th Annual Haviland Hollow Charity Cup is committed to helping us improve the lives of people with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities through the benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and other equine-assisted activities.
This year’s theme is Boots and Bling. Grab your favorite cowboy boots and join us for a fun evening of delicious food, tasty drinks, music, and celebrating Pegasus!
We offer a variety of volunteer opportunities. No horse experience is required, all we require is yourself and a commitment of your time.
Your donations keep our riders in the saddle, provide funds for our programs, and ensure our therapeutic horses stay healthy and content.
