FROM MERRITT PARKWAY SOUTH (TOWARD NEW YORK CITY):

Take Exit 38 (Route 123). At the end of the exit ramp (at the light) go straight across Route 123 onto Carter Street. Travel two miles on Carter Street. The road has several twists and turns, so drive slowly. New Canaan Mounted Troop (NCMT) is on the right, just before the intersection of Carter Street with Silvermine Road. It is a white barn with NCMT painted in blue on the side.

FROM MERRITT PARKWAY NORTH (TOWARD NEW HAVEN):

Take Exit 38 (Route 123). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 123 north. Proceed under the Merritt Parkway, and at the next light turn right onto Carter Street. Travel two miles on Carter Street. The road has several twists and turns, so drive slowly. New Canaan Mounted Troop (NCMT) is on the right, just before the intersection of Carter Street with Silvermine Road. It is a white barn with NCMT painted in blue on the side.

FROM PUTNAM COUNTY AREA:

Take Route 121 south for approximately 8.5 miles. At the intersection of Routes 121 and 35, turn left onto Route 35. Follow for about 4.5 miles and turn right onto Smith Ridge Road. Go about 7 miles and turn left onto Canoe Hill Road. Go 1.5 miles and bear right onto Carter Street. About 500 feet up, New Canaan Mounted Troop is on the left.
